How to clone HHD to SSD?

    You can get a HHD to SSD clone Utility kit from shop.allogics.com
  • Insert your new SSD drive to the 2.5″ hard drive enclosure, and insert the USB cable  to the USB 3.0 input Laptop/Desktop
  • Boot the Laptop/Desktop from the “Clone Utility” CD
  • At the first screen, click on CLONE –> Disk Clone
  • The next screen, click on the SOURCE DISK.  If you have only one running drive and the external USB SSD drive, disk0 is the source Drive, the current running SYSTEM/OS you want to clone to the SSD disk1. You can double check its size. My case it is 230 GB is my source disk. Then click “NEXT” to go to next screen.
  • This screen it asks you to choose the destination disk. It might be warning you if the DESTINATION DISK is a bootable drive. Then just click NEXT to next screen.
    Again, you can check the destination disk size to make sure it is an SSD drive, that you want your source disk to clone to it.
  • This screen, The Clone Utilities warn you again that the DESTINATION DISK will be overwritten or deleted. This screen is your last chance to double check the DESTINATION DISK is the SSD that you want to clone to.
    Always double check, make sure the source disk is your current OS that you want to clone to the SSD drive. We do not responsible your data lost because of your mistake.
  • This screen, checkbox align partition to optimized for SSD, and click on “Edit partitions on the destination disk”
  • This screen checkbox  “fit all partitions to entire disk. Then click “OK”
  • The process runs for awhile depending on how big is the source disk
  • Click Finish, turn off your PC, and swap your current drive to the new SSD drive to the Desktop/Laptop.
